Food Safety and HACCP qualifications are aimed at professionals of every career level working in any business where food handling is involved such as supervisors, team leaders, line managers, cleaning staff, food handlers, kitchen staff etc. These qualifications are also suitable for those owning/managing smaller food businesses.
Persons gaining these qualifications will know and be able to apply the knowledge at all stages of food production including: purchase, delivery, preparation, cooking service and handling of food. They will understand their specific role in food preparation and be able to provide examples of effective food handling and preservation to new team members. All the subjects included in the courses are regarded by the Foods Standards Agency as being important to maintaining good practice in the production of safe food.
Participants can choose from four different Levels of awards from Level 1 to Level 4 in Food Safety or HACCP based on their requirements. Certification for these qualifications is provided by HABC, UK recognised by Ofqual (The Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation).
